Made by GLEW is a one man shop based in Los Angeles County, California operated by Gerald Lew. Gerald has had a lifelong love for art and always needed an outlet to fuel his need for creativity. This led him to earn a degree in graphic design from Cal State Fullerton and later acquired his woodworking skills from the renowned Cerritos College woodworking program. Previously working as a cabinetmaker specializing in custom, high end built-ins, he has now turned his focus to his passion for fine woodworking. He draws upon his design background and is inspired by Japanese art and culture as well as Danish and Mid-Century Modern styles to help create unique, one of a kind furniture and woodwork.
